Weather: “Sunday was actually hot”

We are having spring like weather; Saturday was actually hot. Enjoy it while we can because we could be in for some more winter days. Remember it is still winter which started December 21 it hasn’t been a month yet.

Sunday we had a packed house and the Spirit was very high. We give thanks and glory to God for His Holy Spirit to abide in our prayer warriors and our church family.

Our new deacons that were ordained on last fourth Sunday led us in a powerful devotion. Their teaching and training was showing the results. Thank you Lord! Our Minister of Music Dr. Kathy Hubbard is doing a great job with our choirs. Some who thought they could not lead a song is doing it now with the help of the Lord and Dr. Hubbard. Keep up the good work.

My pastor and spiritual leader came forward with a powerful message taken from II Timothy 4: 14-18. Topic “Forgiveness.” My pastor’s version is to give up my right to hurt you for hurting me. Forgiveness doesn’t mean forgetting it when someone has done you wrong. You can forgive but it is not easy what they did to you was still wrong. You can release it to God. We must cast our fears on God. Remember you are not a doormat because you are a Christian. Some think they can come to you and say anything after you have been saved and you are not to say anything back to them. Don’t be a door mat release it to God and let him take care of them. Forgiveness is not an excuse it was wrong what you said or did. You have got to admit when you are wrong for what happened that’s when the healing of forgiveness begins. Paul said the Lord will stand by you don’t worry about what they do to you. Know that the Lord is for you. Praise God! Thank you pastor for such a great sermon from the Lord.
Keep all sick, shut-ins and bereaved in your thoughts and prayers.
