Church is growing
Our church family continues to grow. Praise God. We thank God for our spiritual leader who is bringing the Word of God to us as God lead him to do. As a song writer wrote I am redeem and bought with a price Jesus has changed my whole life. To our new converts you can say that to the one that comes up to you and brings up what you used to do. Praise the Lord. Pastor T’s mini-sermon to them came from St. John 1:38, “Come and See.”
All I have to say is come and see and it will change you. Keep preaching and teaching God Pastor T. You keep on blessing my soul each time I hear you preach. Congratulations go out to young master Lei'lan Austin Robertson who was dedicated back to the Lord also on Sunday.
We are back into winter again. I am confused about this ground hog thing. In Pennsylvania he did not see his shadow. In Georgia he did see his shadow so up state spring is early in Georgia six more weeks of winter. I guess I should not be confused because all of this and everything is in God’s hands. Thank you Jesus that’s how man can make a mess of things.
Back to our morning worship service. What a time we had! The entire church was on fire for the Lord. Pastor’s sermon came from Philippians 2, key verse 5, “Attitude of Humility.” Having the attitude of Christ there is joy in serving. Many people, even Christians, live only to make a good impression on others or to please only themselves. It is not right to be selfish. Paul stressed spiritual unity asking the Philippians to love one another and to be in spirit. When we work together and care for the problems of others as they were our problems we are Christ like putting others first. That is when we experience unity. Do not be concerned about making a good impression or meeting your own needs you put a strain relationship in God’s family. Christ was humble willing to give up His right in order to obey God and serve people. Christ had a servant’s attitude serving out of love for God and for others. Not out of fear. Remember you can choose your attitude. Don’t blame others for your bad attitude. You can look to God to help you to serve others with courtesy and respect., remember Christ who was a true example of humility. Come to the Springs where the spirit’s motto is, “Bringing Love to Life.” Thank you again Pastor T. for being my spiritual leader.
