James Howard (Jim) Leachmon, 69, of Watkinsville, died January 26, 2013. He was born in Morgan County on December 9, 1943 to the late Nelle Rosencarnce Leachmon and the late Sanders C. Leachmon. He was preceded in death by his brothers, John Leachmon and Jerry Leachmon.
Surviving are: sister, Judy Green of Mansfield; brother, Joseph Leachmon of Bostwick; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, January 30 at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home with the Rev. Gene Minor officiating.
