East Coast a popular destination this past week
Dr. and Mrs. Kevin Kreutter and Noah, Mariah and Duncan of Plainsboro, New Jersey, Mr. and Mrs. Clay Bonnell and Margaret Ann of Bostwick and Ms. Dee Pederson and Calla of Madison joined Mrs. Dorothy Cabaniss for a week at Pawley’s Island, South Carolina.
 Frankie Cartwright Beers, a former resident of Madison, and her husband Jerry have moved to Rutledge from Florida.
Carol Cross is recuperating at home following back surgery at St. Mary’s Hospital.
Rev. and Mrs. Jim Ross (Ann) and David spent several days recently in Crossville, Tennessee visiting Ann’s mother, Nola Lay.
Lee, Amy and Virginia Kate Bohlen, Chris Wood, Mark, Carrie, Jake and Reagan Wilkins vacationed last week at Tybee Island and Savannah.
Patrick and Dianne Yost entertained members of the staff of the Morgan County Citizen and the Lake Oconee Living at a cookout Friday evening at their home.
Brooke Hatfield of Atlanta, a former Managing Editor of the Morgan County Citizen, was in Madison Saturday and visited with Miss Tri-Bee in her 2x4 split-level house on Coon Creek.
Joyce Wierzbicki of Greenfield, Pennsylvania, Barbara and Jennifer Moody, Jennifer’s son Bobby and Chuck Smith are visiting with Wilbur and Linda Bohlen and family and Jimmy and Mary Sidwell. Joyce is the sister of Linda and Jimmy. She is the former Joyce Sidwell from Apalachee.
Jason Christopher Hilsman Sr. and Jennifer Marie Hilsman renewed their wedding vows Sunday, July 29 at 4 p.m. at the Jackson Bailey Art Center in Rutledge. A large number of relatives and friends attended the beautiful garden wedding and the reception held afterwards.
Fred Johnson was a patient in Morgan Memorial Hospital a couple of days last week. He is now at home doing well.
Sylvia Hanson is a patient in the TCU at Morgan Memorial Hospital.
Gussie Knight is recuperating at home following a few days as a patient in the Mayo Clinic last week.Â
