The JV Dogs won handily over the Greene County Tigers Friday night in Madison.
They jumped on them early, going up 27-12 at the half, and the Dogs held on from there, cruising to a 47-32 win.
"This was a great team win," said JV Dogs Head Coach Jonathan Nelson. "Every kid that checked into the game did something positive."
The glaring problem in the game Friday for the JV Dogs was free throw shooting. They went 13 for 32 from the line.
"That's forty percent and in closer games its going to hurt us if we don't get better in that aspect of the game," Nelson said.
Leaders for the team were Damion Hammonds with 13 points, Curtis Perryman with 12 points and eight rebounds and Terence Harper with nine points and five assists.
The JV Dogs' next game will be Saturday when they travel to Putnam.
