JV Girls tie Greene

The JV Lady Dogs came very close to winning Friday night, but they had to settle for a tie with Greene County, 33-33.
"We played well for the first three quarters of the game," said JV Lady Dogs Head Coach Josh Reeves. "We hit our free throws and played good defense. That is generally a good equation for winning."
In the fourth quarter, however, the Lady Dogs stopped hitting their free throws and Greene started hitting their shots.
Greene rallied from 14 down and to tie up the rival game.
Patrice Boswell led Morgan County with 10 points, Briana Belser and Shelby Morrill each added nine.
"We are playing better, but we're young and we do not yet know how to win a game," Reeves said.
They'll get another chance Friday when they host North Oconee. They visit Putnam County on Saturday.
