Brownwood Baptist to hold Easter egg hunt March 22 beginning at 10 a.m.

On Sunday morning the attendance was good with visitors. Our prayer is they will always receive a blessing by coming and will want to come worship with us again. The call to worship “Draw me nearer,” by the choir; special music was “Instead of Me,” by Annette Duren. Bro. Ron’s message, “Story of Redemption,” Ephesians 1 and other scriptures. Jesus Christ is the person of redemption, all born again believers will possess redemption. Jesus paid price of redemption, took our place for our sins with His blood, this was and is the perfect sacrifice. All in Him have redemption; anyone can be in Him by only believing. Salvation is a gift we need to share with others.
On Sunday night at 6 p.m. the Easter Musical was presented by the choir at Brownwood. Refreshments were served afterwards in the Family Life Center.
Next Saturday, March 22, 10 a.m. – 12 noon an Easter egg hunt, Easter message and hot dog lunch and prizes will be held at Brownwood Baptist.
Next Sunday morning at 7 a.m. a Sunrise Service will be held at Brownwood. Breakfast will follow in the Family Life Center.
On Sunday night at 6 p.m. Revival begins at Brownwood Baptist. On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights services will be at 7 p.m. Rev. Ronnie Barnes will be guest speaker. Everyone is invited to come be with us.
The Senior Adult Sunday school class will go to Nurse Care on Sunday morning, March 23 at 9:45 a.m. for Sunday school.
Denny and Patsy Pickett returned home safe on Saturday night after spending a week in Haiti. They will give more details of the trip later.
Mike and Debbie Page have returned home from a business trip to Nashville.
Sonny, Sarah, Rebekah, Rachel and Zach Wood had supper Tuesday night with Margie Ward.
On Thursday morning Margie Ward visited her sisters, Laurene Hopkins and Alice Cheatham in Athens.
On Thursday afternoon Kittie Mayfield, Connie Cottrell and Margie Ward attended the funeral of Mrs. Nelle Lee at Brownwood; burial was in the church cemetery. A. E. Carter Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
The Youth Group from Brownwood with their leaders Anthony and Alicia Cottrell went camping at Watson Springs at Comer during intercession week.
Margie Ward visited with other family and friends of Mrs. Mildred Hilsman on Saturday night at A. E. Carter Funeral Home. Funeral services were held for Mrs. Hilsman on Sunday afternoon at 4 p.m. in the chapel of A. E. Carter Funeral Home. Burial was in Bethany Church Cemetery. After the burial the family met at the home of Doris Clark.   
On Sunday night Margie Ward attended the “Water of Life” passion musical at Centennial Baptist Church.
Last week Billy and Julie Phillips spent the week in South Georgia visiting Billy’s family. While there they enjoyed church services at Eastside Baptist Church in Americus.
