The Morgan County High School Bulldogs soccer team picked up two wins last week, winning at Winder-Barrow on Thursday and beating Monroe Area last Tuesday.
The Dogs handled Winder-Barrow 3-1 behind goals from Greg Manzo, Sean Caple and Jacob Connelly.
In Madison on Tuesday the Dogs shut out Monroe Area 2-0 behind two Jacob Connelly goals.
The pair of wins improved the Dogs' overall record to 5-5. Their region record still stands at 2-0 after the non-region contests.
Bulldogs Head Coach Chip Meyer said the team seems to be confident after the wins.
"It's good," Meyer said. "The kids seem to be very upbeat and very excited."
The team will have this week off due to most of their opponents being out of town for their spring breaks.
The team will be back in action next week. They visit Social Circle next Tuesday and host GMC next Thursday.
The JV Dogs lost on Saturday to Oglethorpe 2-1 in Madison despite a goal from Zach Yost.
