Correction:  In the article last week about the Morgan County High School Class of 1955 get together at Bonner’s Restaurant in Buckhead the name of a member attending was left out. I would like to apologize to Frances Bell Wingfield for this omission.
The Boxwood Garden Club will hold their May 19 meeting at 6:30 p.m. at the Saffold Cabin 1000 Apalachee Woods Trail on Lake Oconee. Please note that the meeting time is one hour earlier than our normal time to meet. Everyone is asked to bring a covered dish for the evening meal. Roast pork will be provided.
Host and hostess will be Mr. and Mrs. Terrell Saffold and Mr. and Mrs. David Andrade. This will be the last meeting before the summer break. All members are urged to attend and enjoy this time of fellowship together.

Sally Johnson, Robin Hill and Lisa Boone, all employees of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, recently returned from a Carnival cruise. Points visited were Key West, Florida and Playa Del Carmen, Mexico.
Lydia and Leslie Norburg of Tifton and Clint Bell of Covington spent Mother’s Day weekend with their mother Amy Bell.
Jason, Yvonne, Joshua and Jeremy of Acworth spent Mother’s Day weekend in Madison with Ina Wallace and Charles and Jerry Giles.
On April 26 Mr. and Mrs. Terrell Saffold hosted a group of Mrs. Saffold’s high school friends with a luncheon at the Saffold Cabin on Lake Oconee. After lunch everyone chatted and caught up on happenings in each other’s lives. These friends were part of the graduating class of 1960 at Morgan County High School.
