Everette Watson Armour
    Everette Watson Armour, 95, of Madison passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2008. He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Louise Wolfe Armour; daughter and son-in-law, Rosemary Armour and Wallace B. Salter Jr. of Bishop; grandchildren, Marsy McWhorter (Jay) Boyd, Brantley W. McWhorter, all of Watkinsville; step-grandson, W. Bruce Salter (Sara) Salter III of Panama City, Florida and several nieces and nephews.
    Mr. Armour was born in Rayle, where he resided until he came to Madison. He co-owned a variety store in Madison.
    Approximately one year later he and his bride, Louise opened Armour’s 5 and 10.
    They operated the business until their retirement in 1997.
    He was an active member of Madison Baptist Church where he served in several leadership roles. At the time of his death he was deacon emeritus.
    He earlier served as an active member of Madison Kiwanis Club where he was president and lieutenant governor for the VII Division Georgia District.
    He has been a member of the City Council of Madison.
    A memorial service was held Monday, May 12 at 2 p.m. at Madison Baptist Church.
    In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to the building fund at Madison Baptist Church.
    A.E. Carter Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Patricia Landrum
Fielding
    Patricia Landrum Fielding, 75, of Madison died Friday, May 16, 2008. She was born September 22, 1932 in Morgan County to Tinsley and Mattie Sims Landrum.
    She was married to Samuel Walter Fielding. They made their home in Morgan County. She was a member of Brownwood Baptist Church and was a resident at Madison Health and Rehab where she enjoyed the singings.
    She is survived by her children Debra Bonner and Bill of Buckhead, Ronald Fielding and Vickie of Madison and Teresa Waldrop and Matt of McDonough; grandchildren Dusty Bonner, Dallas Bonner, Jason Fielding, Auston Fielding, Luke Fielding, Payton Owens and Brad Owens; great-grandchildren Anna Bonner, Dustin Bonner, Kaitlyn Fielding, Carter Fielding, Christopher Fielding and Strat Fielding.
    She was preceded in death by her husband Sam Fielding and two grandchildren, Stanley Bonner and Molly Jo Bonner.
    Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 18 in the chapel at A. E. Carter Funeral Home with the Rev. MaCrae Olinger and Rev. Ron Swann officiating. Interment was in the Buckhead Cemetery.
    Her grandsons served as pallbearers.

Jerome Taylor Jr.
    Jerome Taylor Jr., 14, of Lithonia died Tuesday, May 13, 2008 in Lithonia.
    Funeral service was held at noon on Wednesday, May 21 at Timothy Baptist Church. Interment was in East Lawn Memorial Cemetery.
    He is survived by his parents, JoVonne Vincent and Jerome Taylor Sr.; siblings, Iesha and Teundra Taylor, Sanderica and J’Nansia Vincent; grandparents, Della Clark and Otis Hilman, aunts, uncles and other relatives.   
    Gardenview Funeral Chapel of Athens was in charge of arrangements.
