Donald F. Daniel
Donald F. Daniel, “Big D,” 40, died suddenly Sunday, July 27, 2008. He was born April 8, 1968 to the late Rosa L. Daniel and Bobby Armour.
He worked at Leggett ad Platt for many years. He was a loyal member of “No Limit Riders M/C” from 1998 until his death. He was an inspiration to anyone who knew him, always with a cheerful, joking, loving personality.
On July 27 he took the hand of God and joined with Katie A. Daniel, who preceded him in death.
He is survived by his love Jessica; three daughters, Kesha, Whitley and Victoria; son Damien; two step-daughters, Kelsie and Taylor; two sisters, Michell and Vanessa Daniel; two nephews, three aunts, Eura Mae Pitts of Madison, Minnie Martin of South River, New Jersey and Betty Reid of Madison; and a host of other family members and many friends.
The funeral service was held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 2, at Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. James Braswell officiating. Interment was in Hill Haven Cemetery, Monroe.
Casket bearers were members of the No Limit Riders “Let’s Ride” and flower attendants were family and friends.
Jones and Turner Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Bennie Tull Carter, Sr.
Bennie Tull Carter, Sr. was born to the late William Carter, Sr. and Mrs. Eldora Pierce Carter on August 20, 1940. He departed this life on Monday, July 28, 2008. Mr. Carter was united in holy matrimony to Annie Ruth Taylor on October 28, 1961. To this union six children were born. He was the plant manager for 19 years for Pine Valley Farms in Rutledge. He was a "master craftsman" with many skills. Mr. Carter was a father who treasured all of his children. He was preceded in death by his father, William Carter, Sr.; mother, Eldora Pierce Carter; brother, William Carter, Jr.; and Mamie Johnson. His loving memories will be cherished by his loving and devoted wife, Annie R. Carter; sons Charles Carter Kinsey (Gloria) of Soperton, Bennie T. Carter, Jr. of Dublin, Michael J. Carter (Patricia) of Stone Mountain, Timothy Carter of Norcross, Alex Carter of Madison; daughters, Shirley D. Allen (Reginald) of Columbia, S.C., Brenda A. Carter of Dublin, Erica L. Durrah (Broderick) and Brandy Howard of Thomaston, Charita Carter of Conyers, and Tiffany Carter of Athens; 26 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; two brothers, James Carter (Gail) of Akron, Ohio, and Henry Carter of Albany, and three sisters, Ollie Gardner of East Dublin, Oletha Stinson of College Park, and Doris Cowan (Donald) of Asheville, N.C.; father-in-law, Jimmie "Doc" Taylor of East Dublin; a host of other nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Jason Scott Knight
Jason Scott Knight, 30, of Good Hope died Tuesday, July 29, 2008. He was born in Clarke County on June 23, 1978 to Danny Monroe Knight and Janice Louise Almand Knight. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, the late Rev. Robert Almand and the late Monroe Knight.
He is survived by his parents, Danny and Janice Knight of Good Hope; grandmothers, Louise Almand of Good Hope and Hazel Knight of Madison.
Funeral service was held at 3 p.m. Friday, August 1 at the Chapel of Meadows Funeral home with the Rev. Jimmy Edwards, the Rev. Jerald Bishop, the Rev. Don Malcom, and the Rev. Allen Cagle officiating. Interment was at Braswell Cemetery.

Meadows Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of arrangements.
David Jackson
David Jackson, 60, of Austell died Saturday, August 2, 2008. He had been a member of South Cobb Church of Christ since its establishment in 1995.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Jackson; sisters, Shirley Sloan of Austell, Esther Kirk and Dianne Baker, both of Monroe; a brother, Steven Jackson of Madison and numerous nieces and nephews.
Service was held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 5, at South Cobb Church of Christ with Ministers Larry Sheehy and Tommy Tidwell officiating.
