A one–month drug investigation ended last Thursday with three people arrested for allegedly distributing crack cocaine.

According to Capt. Kenny Stewart, Morgan County Sheriff’s Office, Syntwaine Gerrico Thomas, 19, Union Point; Quintavia Renita Wade, 19, Madison and Stephanie Denise Adams, 25, Madison, were all arrested and charged with possession of drugs within 1,000 feet of a federal housing authority, possession with intent to distribute, illegal possession of a controlled substance and transactions of a controlled substance after authorities executed a search warrant of a Burney Street home.

Stewart said officers with the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office, the City of Madison Police Department and the Ocmulgee Drug Task Force entered the house at approximately 2 p.m. All three suspects were arrested without incident.

Stewart said authorities confiscated a small amount of crack cocaine, approximately seven ounces of marijuana and several sets of scales from the house.

City of Madison Police Department Det. Carl Jones said authorities had made four controlled crack cocaine buys from the house in the last month. Authorities also seized $900 in cash. All three suspects had bonded out of jail by Monday.
