Citizen paper seeking top holiday light spots for ‘razzle dazzle’ tour

By Tara DeRock Mahoney
Senior Staff Writer

It hasn’t been going on too many years—four or five at most. But the Morgan County Razzle-Dazzle Light Tour is a cherished local tradition for some families, and this year we are looking to continue the joy.

We want you, the residents of Morgan County, to let us know where the best and brightest, most beautiful light displays are being created. We want the sublimely beautiful and the gloriously over-the-top; call or e-mail us with the address and we’ll print the list each week between now and New Years in the Morgan County Citizen.

For starters, we can tell you that the lights are up in downtown Madison, as are the holiday display windows. Sweetbriar Lane off Apalachee Road is starting to shine, and Commerce Drive in Madison is always worth checking out. But we know there are more of you out there.

So share the joy! And let us know about great light displays by calling us at 706.342.7440, or e-mailing us at citizen@morgancountycitizen.com. We want to hear from you. And we want to see some great lights!
