The Morgan County Bullpups lost their first game of the season last Monday to Oconee County Middle School by a score of 36-31. The loss moves Morgan to 2-1 on the season.
The Pups ended the game making only 13 of 63 shots from the field and five of 17 from the line.
“They made a lot of easy layups and second chance points because we didn’t communicate or boxout on the boards,” Head Coach Milfred Franklin said.
“The good thing that came out of this game is it really magnified what we need to work on.”
Trent Hawk led all scorers with 13 points with Davon Gibbs adding eight points to the total.
The Pups were scheduled to face conference opponent Monticello Wednesday at home, and will square off against rival Greene County on Friday.
The Bullpups coaching staff is asking that everyone where white to the Greene County game for their first ever WHITEOUT.
