Ricky David Holland, 49, died Saturday, January 10, 2009 in Madison. He was the son of Sidney and Anita Holland of Augusta.
He was an employee at Hawk Stables and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved his family and friends and was a great role model to his nieces and nephews. He was a truly devoted son, brother, uncle and friend. He will be greatly missed.
Family members, in addition to his parents, include a sister Cindy Holland Biggar and her husband Curt Biggar; niece, Calie Biggar; nephews, Christopher Biggar, Joshua Biggar, and Jeremy Biggar; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral service was held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 14, at the Chapel of Thomas Poteet and Son with Rev. Charlie DeLoach officiating. Pallbearers were Tony Cottrell, Ray Wilcher, Dickey Ramsey, Taylor Ramsey, James Graham, David Dorn and Tim Prather. Interment was at Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
