$275,000 ticket sold at Katy’s Corner

For one customer of Katy's Korner Store in Buckhead, Thursday, January 1 was a very lucky day.
Which customer, though, remains a mystery.
According to Vicki Dorsett, co-owner of Katy's Korner, Georgia Lottery called the store last Saturday to verify that they were, indeed, the store that sold a Fantasy 5 ticket worth $275,000.
"We sold the ticket; we were the selling store," Dorsett said.
While the identity of the store was verified, no one knows the identity of the lucky customer, though, as the prize hasn't been claimed yet. If the prize is claimed, Katy's Korner may get to find out who, exactly, was the lucky customer.
"We would sort of be notified when someone claims it," Dorsett said. "They'll put up a sign in the store. There is a selling bonus the store gets."
For now, though, the winner's identity remains a mystery.
"We really don't have much to go on except a ticket was sold and that's the value of it," Dorsett said.
