Celia Evans, 64, of Rutledge died Saturday, January 17, 2009. She was a member of Berean Baptist Church in Social Circle.

    She is survived by her husband, David Evans of Rutledge, her parents, J. W. and Katherine Richardson of Columbus, Miss., son and daughter-in-law, Chad and Rebecca Lanier of Rutledge; step-daughters, Kathy Ann Evans of Murphy, North Carolina, Sherry Jean Evans of Decatur; grandchildren, Hannah Michelle Lanier and William Jacob Lanier.

    Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, January 22 at the chapel of Berean Baptist Church. The Rev. Tom Rush will officiate. Interment will follow at Rutledge City Cemetery.

    Henry Funeral Home of Social Circle is in charge of arrangements.
