Curtis McDuffie
Curtis McDuffie, 42, of Madison, died January 19, 2009 in Langhorne, Penn. He was born in New York and was the son of the late Ruth Rodgers and Robert McDuffie.
He was a 1983 graduate of McCormick High School and received a Bachelor of Science Degree from South Carolina State College. He was a former employee of the Department of Social Services in McCormick, South Carolina and was employed with Premiere Transportation in Forest Park.
He is survived by his wife, Eunice Brown McDuffie of Madison; two sons, KanAvis Chisolm and Kah’Deem Chisolm and a daughter Kayla McDuffie, all of Madison; godmother Betty Peterson of Patchogue, New York; mother-in-law Ella Brown of Abbeville, South Carolina; sisters Gloria Richardson (Curtis), Kim McDuffie, both of Simpsonville, South Carolina, Lisa McDuffie of Greenville, South Carolina and Roblynne McDuffie of Greenwood.
Funeral service was held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 28 at Spring Grove Baptist Church in Mt. Carmel, South Carolina with Rev. Roy Andrews officiating. Burial was in Forest Lawn Memory Garden.
The family is at the home of his mother-in-law Mrs. Ella Brown, 159 Bobo Drive, Abbeville, South Carolina.
