The Headliners played a great show at the Madison-Morgan Cultural Center Friday night.
Typically raising $5,000 for the Madison-Morgan Chamber of Commerce, according to Chamber President Marguerite Copelan, about 275 tickets were sold to the event, and a total of 20 tables were reserved for the party beforehand.
“Many visitors...from other counties came,” said  Copelan, president of the Chamber of Commerce.
Considered a success by hosts and attendees alike, The Headliners played through a repertoire of "beach music." Many people brought dinner in picnic baskets to munch on during the event; others just grabbed a bucket of chicken from Kentucky Fried Chicken to share.
“We just want to have a fun event during the winter,” Copelan said.
