Rebecca C. Perry, age 64, passed away February 19, 2009, at Athens Regional Medical Center after an extended illness.
A native of Clarke County, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Horace and Gussie Chambers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy F. Perry Sr. She worked as a textile worker at Wellington Puritan Mills and then for the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office.
She is survived by two sons, Roy and Ricky Perry, both of Madison; one sister, Nellie Sue Brock, of Plant City, Florida; four granddaughters, two grandsons, one great granddaughter and numerous nieces and nephews.
A private memorial service will occur at a later date. Interment will be at the Madison Cemetery.
