Lynda Faye Bell
Lynda Faye Corley Bell, 62, of Rutledge died February 20, 2009. Mrs. Bell was the daughter of George E. Corley and Ola Garmon Corley. She was born in DeKalb County on February 17, 1947. She married Edward Bell on October 2, 1998. Mrs. Bell worked as a home health nurse and touched many lives through her work. She enjoyed camping and loved to fish. She was also a gifted gardener and liked working with stained glass. She was a member of Centennial Baptist Church.
Mrs. Bell is survived by her husband, Edward Bell and her son, John Brandon Jr. (Teresa); two step-sons, Dwayne Bell (Amy) and Tim Bell (Susan); a sister Dorothy Street; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Her daughter, Deborah Brandon Cannon, preceded her in death.
Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 21, in the chapel at A. E. Carter Funeral Home. Interment followed at Prospect Cemetery. The Rev. Wilburn Hill officiated. Her nephews served as pallbearers.
A. E. Carter Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
