Jessie Lee Jenkins, 86, of Madison died March 5, 2009. He was a World War II Army Veteran, a member of Sandy Creek Baptist Church and a retired farmer.
Funeral service was held at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 8, in the Monroe Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home with Rdev. Don Malcom and Rev. Wayne Powers officiating. Interment was in Sandy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Evelyn and Bobby Fox of Madison; daughter, Shirley Ann Astin of Ohio; sons and daughters-in-law, Charlie and Doris Jenkins of Madison; Lester Lee and Pat Jenkins of Roberta; 19 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
