Henry Usher Almand, 61, of Madison died Friday, March 13, 2009. He was the son of Henry and Aslee Armour Almand. He was born November 18, 1947 in Morgan County. He married Shirley Long on July 10, 1964. They made their home in Madison. Mr. Almand owned and operated Henry’s Fast Lube in Covington. He enjoyed drag racing and building muscle cars.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Shirley Long Almand and their two children, Lynn Day and husband Steve of Madison and Bart Almand of Covington; four grandchildren, Jena Day, Steven Day, Haley Day and Lizzie Day.
A memorial service was held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of A. E. Carter Funeral Home.
