Donnie Herring, 66, of Social Circle, died April 13, 2009. He was born in Walton County on June 30, 1942 to the late Edward Lee Herring and the late Lillian Stephens Herring.

He is survived by his wife, Janelle Herring of Social Circle; son and daughter-in-law, Don and Beth Herring of Madison; daughter and son-in-law, Scott and Scarlett Kitchens of Jersey; and grandchildren, Cain Kitchens, Courtney Kitchens and Garner Drummond.

Funeral Services were held on Thursday, April 16, 2009 at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home with the Rev. Josh Roberts and the Rev. Wayne Durden officiating. Interment followed at Hill Haven Cemetery.

Meadows Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of arrangements.
