Eddie Lewis “Bill” Haley Sr., 56, of Buckhead died April 20, 2009 after a brief illness. He was born December 16, 1952 in Morgan County to Marvin “Buck” Haley and Edna Ruth Haley. He was employed as a heavy equipment operator working for Morgan County. He was a member of Apalachee Baptist Church. Mr. Haley enjoyed fishing, playing cards and working on cars.

He is survived by three sons, Eddie Lewis Haley Jr. of Terre Haute, Indiana, Joseph Lewis Haley (Amy) of Arnoldsville and Eddie Baron Haley (Tammy) of Madison; seven grandchildren, and siblings, Linda Sue Webber, Robin LaFortuna, Ann Helriegel, Louise Hensler, Buddy Haley and Alec Haley.

Funeral service was held at 3 p.m. Thursday, April 23, at Apalachee Baptist Church with interment at Buckhead Cemetery. Rev. Alan Cagle officiated at the service.
A. E. Carter Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
