Willie Benn, 89, of Greshamville passed away May 4, 2009. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bennie Mae Crawford, grandson, Jeffery Wimbish and granddaughter, Kimberly S. Johnson.

He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters, Vivian M. Benn and Yvonne Wimbish of Greensboro; three sons, Roscoe and Suzender Benn, Milton and Gloria Wimbish of Greensboro and Bernard Crawford of Greensboro, North Carolina; 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and friends.

A memorial service was held at 1 p.m. Friday, May 9 at Greenville Baptist Church with Rev. Terry Dorsey officiating.
Mapp-Gilmore Funeral Services was in charge of arrangements.
