Bullpups down Youth 169–67

The cool breezy afternoon was a perfect backdrop for a track and field meet. Not a cloud in the sky, and just enough of a breeze to keep all of the athletes moving around. The Morgan County Bullpups took advantage of the weather by crushing Youth Middle School with a final score of 169 to 67.

    The Morgan County boys soccer team kept their hopes for post season play alive with two region wins last week.
    The Dogs defeated Jackson County last Tuesday 3 – 0.

Golf team beats Oconee

    Apparently youth continues to be served on the Morgan County High School boys golf team.
    The team didn’t let an overcast day slow them down from dominating Oconee County last week.

Lady Dogs take first region win with 6–1 win over Elbert

Staff Reports

    A shift in the offensive line worked well for the Morgan County High School Lady Dogs last Friday.
    Coach John Murphy moved Lauren Farrell from her normal defensive position to midfield.
    The result: Morgan County notched its first region win of the season against Elbert County 6 – 1.
