Pups Stay Perfect

    For the second time since it’s inception in 2004, the Morgan County Middle School boys soccer team completed an undefeated season last week.
    In the final game for the Bullpups, the team defeated the Westminster Academy high school JV squad 1–0.

Dogs drop last two

    A bounce here, a goal there and the Morgan County High School Bulldogs’ 2009 campaign could have been different, coach Chip Meyer said following the Dogs’ final contest against Stephens County last week.

Tennis teams advance

    Both the Morgan County High School boys and girls tennis teams have advanced to the state tournament with wins in the region tournament last week.
    Last Wednesday at Hart County the boys team defeated Eastside High School and the girls beat Elbert County High School 3–2.

Girls go out with a bang

Bullpups drop final match to Social Circle

    The Morgan County Middle School golf team lost to Social Circle Middle School last Thursday 214–209 at Hard Labor Creek State Park Golf Course.
    Low medalist for the Bullpups was Jake O’Bryan with a 45.

Net Dogs dominate

    If last week’s contest against Newton County was any indication, the Morgan County High School varsity tennis program is reaching for high accolades at the end of the season.
    Both the girls and boys teams dominated 5A Newton County with the girls winning 5–0 and the boys winning 4–1.
