The Morgan County High School NetDogs opened their season last Thursday with a 6-0  team victory over the Social Circle Redskins.
The girls competed in three singles matches and two doubles matches, sweeping all five.

Several students, student athletes, parents, educators, and members of the community joined Bo Fowler and his administration at the Madison-Morgan Cultural Center Tuesday night for a fund-raiser geared towards bringing the Fellowship of Christian Athletes program to Morgan County.

Morgan explodes for 16 runs in first inning, win 17-0

The Morgan County Middle School NetPups got  their 2009 season underway Friday, February 20 against Madison County.
In the girls singles matches, Lily Arienzo was defeated 7-9 by Abby Thrasher, Caroline Jones defeated Jenny Ortman 8-0, and Peyton Nunn lost to Kaylee Bates by a score of 6-8.

The Morgan County Middle School Lady Pups opened their 2009 season Thrusday, February 12 with a 3-2 loss against Oglethorpe Middle School.
The difference in the game came when two unfortunate hand balls near the goalie box resulted in two Oglethorpe goals.
Both of Morgan’s goals came off the foot of Holly Peppers.

For the first time ever, the Morgan County High School golf team defeated Athens-Academy by a score of 106-130.
The match took place at Athens Academy’s home course, Athens Country Club, last Thursday.
Meredith Owen lead the Lady Dogs with a 43, seven strokes over par.
