Fathers mystically know all, even when you insipidly think you have gotten away with a staggering lapse in judgment. Somewhere in my college experience, my academics hit a 10 foot high speed bump in the form of two afternoon classes. Coming back to the dorm exhausted, I couldn’t drag myself to class after lunch.

“National Be Kind to Animals Week” portrait winners announced

Mirroring Madison's bicentennial and the Cultural Center's portrait theme, Humane Society volunteer Donna Baddour decided that a pet portrait contest would be a fitting local celebration for this year's "National Be Kind to Animals Week." The week-long, animal-friendly event is held annually the first week of May.
