Rain brings the harvest
Submitted by archiver on Tue, 07/31/2007 - 12:48.Saturday was our Nursing Home Ministry. I went by to visit with my sister Alice before going to the nursing home on Saturday. She loves the book of Proverbs and I read a chapter to her and the nurse thanked me for doing that. The nurse said that she needed that blessing on Saturday. I am glad the Lord led me that way and I was a blessing to both of them. Thank you Lord.

Having coffee and breakfast on the porch was delightful this morning seeing a little bird hopping around on the azalea bushes. Its mama was close by watching it.
I missed the little chipmunks around the front steps I don’t know what’s happened to them. Some don’t like them but to me they’re one of God’s creatures like we are.

Submitted by archiver on Tue, 07/31/2007 - 12:46.Turner Foster came from Memphis to join his dad Chuck Foster and Chuck’s grandsons, Jacob in fly-fishing at Blue Ridge. Jacob is from Louisiana and will soon return home for school.
Charles and Caroline Massey and grandson Charley Massey have been here from Tifton. Charley Massey and Jacob Johnson had a wonderful time together.
Dave and Betty Andrade are home after going about 6000 miles on their three wheeler. They were in 11 states. They traveled with Vicky and Tommy Martin, also from Buck

Margaret and Ed Fitzpatrick and Leslie and David Fitzpatrick and children spent the weekend in Bainbridge attending the wedding of Margaret and Ed’s grandson, Joe Slusher of Lawrenceville to Elizabeth Shirley of Bainbridge. The couple will be living in Danielsville where she is a teacher at Danielsville High School and he is attending the University of Georgia.Â

We pray they felt God’s presence in our midst as they worshiped with us today and will come back to any of our services. Kids and adults lined up to snap up copies of the 784-page tome and see what finally becomes of everyone’s favorite scrawny, bespectacled hero.Â
