Bulldog soccer team splits action against Redskins

It was a week of mixed results this week as the Bulldog soccer team picked up their first win of the season but lost their first region game as well.
Both games came against Social Circle, with the Bulldogs on the road last Tuesday to take on the Redskins. With leading scorer Tyler Thomas out of the lineup with a thigh injury, Head Coach Tom Duff had to make some adjustments and moved Rodrick Brown from his fullback position up to the front line. Sidwell names to Team Georgia wrestling squad

With a state AA title and a 48—3 record, it comes as no surprise to Head Coach Tim Stoudenmire that Mat Dog Dusty Sidwell was selected to be a member of Team Georgia.
"Dusty is a real good kid and a great wrestler," Stoudenmire said. "This is a testament of what kids can develop in to coming through this program.

GAINESVILLE – The Net Dogs found success but no championship as they took part in the prestigious P.J. Holcomb tournament this past weekend.
Having played in only one match since March 11 due to the weather, it was no surprise the weather played a factor in the tournament. Excessive rain caused the three—day tournament reduced to two days, putting the 16 teams into a single set elimination tournament for the preliminary rounds.

Madison was filled with 350 students from all over North Georgia this past weekend, as Madison Baptist Church hosted March Madness, an annual event sponsored by the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship.
"I put 94 miles on my car on Saturday traveling to all the work sites," said Doug Atkins, Minister of Youth and Activities at Madison Baptist Church. "I told my wife I felt like Santa Claus."
