Hospital officials questioned at GOP meeting

    The Morgan County Republican Party hosted an informational meeting to discuss and address citizens’ questions concerning the proposed new hospital on Tuesday, May 26 at the James Madison Room at Madison Markets. Over 40 people were in attendance.

Randy, Paula and Simon missed a phenomenal show at the Morgan County Senior Center’s fourth annual American Senior Idol on Friday, May 29 to celebrate Older Americans Month. This year an invitation was extended to the Oconee County Senior Center to be apart of the audience and the contestants.

Stanton Springs industrial park gets project inquiry

    The Joint Development Authority of Jasper, Morgan, Newton, and Walton counties continues to market its 1,600-acre light-industrial park to companies looking to locate in Georgia. They're aided in this endeavor by the state of Georgia, which continues to bring likely prospects to the JDA's table.
