County and city government officials are keeping a weather eye on local SPLOST revenues, the penny sales tax that is currently generating monies to help pay for an expanded library, a new swimming pool, a new jail, and a number of new roads in the county, among other projects.
New city park in the works at Rutledge

Rutledge City Council members met in a regular session Monday night, and reviewed a concept plan for an enhanced city park to be developed over the next few years adjacent to the city’s fire station on Fairplay Road.
Farm City Tour changes launch locale
