Scouts begin ‘Taylor’s Teddy Bears’ drive

Morgan County Girl Scout Troop 103125 is set to kick off a “Taylor’s Teddy Bears” drive this month in memory of Taylor Kinchen, the six-year-old Godfrey girl who passed away last January of complications from brain and spinal tumors.

The City of Madison could potentially pick up several hundred new natural gas customers if it decides to extend its service to the southeastern corner of Morgan and the proposed new Kingston residential development.

CASA reaches 10 year mark of local service

Since 1998, the network of CASA programs throughout Georgia has advocated for the best interests of thousands of abused and neglected children. In fact, in 2007 alone, over 1,800 volunteers served over 9,250 children in Georgia.
