I bring you greetings from Union Springs Baptist Church, which is under the divine leadership of Pastor Robert L. Terrell Jr. and our ministerial staff has been overflowing with activities. In particular, Minister Derrick Worrell and Minister Kathy Hubbard have fulfilled several speaking engagements in our community and there are a host of future dates to come.

I believe in Angels and I believe in Demons, both spiritual beings described in the Bible and what is in the Bible, I believe is truth.

Angels and Demons

Humans have a sinful nature
Which gives Demons an edge,
An edge Demons always use
To drive a tempting wedge.

Dudney and Patsy Harris of Buckhead recently returned from an extended RV trip to Pennsylvania and Virginia. They were both interested in seeing the actual site of the man-made lake in South Fork, Pennsylvania, which broke in 1889 completely draining the lake, and killing over 2,200 people downstream mainly in the coal town of Johnstown,

The youths of Lake Oconee Baptist Chapel would like to invite you to their first performance on Sunday night at 6 p.m., May 24 in the fellowship hall. “The Baptist Chapel Crusaders” as they call themselves will have a performance of “The Incredible Dream,” which has never been seen before.
