Good morning June 8, a sunshiny day to start the week and it’s a green world thanks to God’s abundant rain.
Fishing should be good as ponds are full again, and the contented cows are grazing on ample grass.

A little bird’s nest outside my window taught me a lesson about life. I am sure that many lessons could be learned from the way birds live their lives. I think this was a dove’s nest because of the cooing at night that I could hear.

The Class of ’49, first graduating class of the newly consolidated Morgan County High School, celebrated their 60th reunion on Saturday, June 6 at Bethany Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. A delicious lunch was catered by Annette Eaton and Emily Harper Brewer assisted in serving.
