Columnist: “Let us begin our early mornings with a good attitude; then the week will surely fall in place”
By Madison’s Poet Laureate,
Col. Dan McHenry Hicky

Class of 1954 holds 55th reunion
The Morgan County High School Class of 1954 held their 55th class reunion Saturday, April 25 at Bonner’s Restaurant in Buckhead. Twenty-five class members were present with a total of 44 attending.
Sunday morning attendance was good with visitors present. We are thankful each one came and pray they were blessed by coming and will want to come and be with us again. After the opening prayer, welcome and announcements the first hymn was “Heavenly Sunlight,” followed by “Because He Lives.” Special music was “Where Joy and Sorrows Meet” by Alicia Cottrell.
The people at the Buckhead Baptist Church are planning a special service Sunday, April 26 honoring the Rev. MaCrae and Carrie Olinger for 10 years of ministry. Following the morning service lunch will be served. If you have an interest I’m sure that you are invited to attend.
