On Friday, May 14 City of Madison Councilwoman Connie Booth and I attended Morgan County High School’s Fourth Annual Mock Student Congress. To say that we were impressed with the day’s proceedings would be an understatement.

After last year’s terrorist attacks in Mumbai, India, the fourth such attack since 1992 life was pretty much back to normal by the following week. In Iraq, suicide bombers seem to constantly attack Shia Muslims on their way to pilgrimages. Yet the worshipers keep making those pilgrimages.
