Heidi Beckham and Jon King

Cynthia Wallace and Bill Beckham of Madison proudly announce the engagement of their daughter, Heidi Beckham, of Chattanooga, Tenn., to Jon King, also of Chattanooga.

The bride-elect is a 1997 graduate of Gatewood School and a 2002 graduate of Kennesaw State University where she received her degree in business marketing. She teaches business technology in Chattanooga.
The groom-elect is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Vic King of Kingston, Tenn. He is a 1996 graduate of Kingston High School and a 2006 graduate of Pellisippi State where he received a degree in computer animated drafting and design. He is a playground designer for Play and Park Structures in Chattanooga.

Miss Beckham is the granddaughter of the late Mell and Eloise Sammons of Eatonton and John and Rose Beckham of Madison.

Mr. King is the grandson of Ruth Ann Ludwig and Jean and Bob Harris and the late Bob Ludwig all of Kingston, Tenn.

The couple plan to marry September 12, 2009, at the home of Steve and Robin Sammons in Lake Oconee in Chapel Springs. Officiating the ceremony will be Mike Williard, pastor of Liberty Chapel Church in Eatonton. Immediately following the ceremony will be a lakeside tent dinner and dance reception. The couple will continue their honeymoon enjoying Lake Oconee.

Lintresa Yvette Carter and Jake Fitzgerald Simmons

Ms. Teresa Hawkins and Robert Carter of Madison announce the engagement of their daughter Lintresa Yvette Carter to Jake Fitzgerald Simmons, son of Jake Sr. and Patricia Simmons of Eatonton.
The wedding is planned for Saturday, September 5, 2009 at 3 p.m. at True Life Ministries Church in Social Circle. The reception will be held at Town 220 in the James Madison Conference Hall in Madison.
