Mr. And Mrs. Michael Conrads of Bishop are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Lane Conrads, to John-Michael Eldon Kirkconnell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald  Kirkconnell of Georgetown, Grand Cayman. 

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Ed and Nancy Beatty of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and the late James and Virginia Conrads of Atlanta and Rutledge. 

The groom-elect is the grandson of Capt. Eldon and Pat Kirkconnell and Derek and Marguerite Wight, both of Georgetown, Grand Cayman.

The bride-elect is a 2003 graduate of Southlake Carroll High School, Southlake, Texas. She graduated in 2007 from the University of Notre Dame, South Bend, Ind., with bachelor degrees  in mathematics and Russian.  She received a master’s degree in 2009 in entrepreneurial business from the same university.

Mr. Kirkconnell is a 2001 graduate of St. Ignatius School, Georgetown, Grand Cayman. He earned his undergraduate degrees in 2006 in film, theatre and television, thilosophy, and theology from the University of Notre Dame. He is pursuing a master’s of fine arts in animation at the Savannah College of Art and Design, Atlanta.

A wedding is planned for this summer in the groom’s home church in Grand Cayman, followed by a reception at the Westin Casuarina Resort and Spa.
