Submitted by editor on Thu, 03/12/2009 - 19:18.Jessie Lee Jenkins, 86, of Madison died March 5, 2009. He was a World War II Army Veteran, a member of Sandy Creek Baptist Church and a retired farmer.
Funeral service was held at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 8, in the Monroe Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home with Rdev. Don Malcom and Rev. Wayne Powers officiating. Interment was in Sandy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
Frank E. Moore Sr.

He was the son of the late Tarlie Edward and Beulah Cox Moore. He was a graduate of Clemson University and John Marshall Law School and was a Journeyman Electrician. He was a United States Army veteran and a member of Clouds Creek Baptist Church.
Tucker Clayton Autry
Submitted by editor on Thu, 03/05/2009 - 19:28.Tucker Clayton Autry, 3 days old, of Winder died February 21, 2009. He is the son of Jon C. and Amber Phillips Autry, both of Winder. His grandparents are Tommy and Sue Fowler of Winder, Ronnie and Beth Autry of Danielsville, and Darrell and Pat Phillips of Winder.
Graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 22, at Hebron Christian Church Cemetery.
Susan Reid Manley Law

Lynda Faye Bell
Submitted by editor on Thu, 02/26/2009 - 20:10.Lynda Faye Corley Bell, 62, of Rutledge died February 20, 2009. Mrs. Bell was the daughter of George E. Corley and Ola Garmon Corley. She was born in DeKalb County on February 17, 1947. She married Edward Bell on October 2, 1998. Mrs. Bell worked as a home health nurse and touched many lives through her work. She enjoyed camping and loved to fish.
Gene Marvin Simpson Sr.
Submitted by editor on Thu, 02/26/2009 - 20:10.Gene Marvin Simpson Sr., 75, of Greensboro died February 19, 2009. He was born April 24, 1933 in Atlanta to Glenn and Elsie Simpson. He was a veteran of the United States Army and spent most of his career as an Army recruiter. He was married to Linda Taylor on February 14, 1972. They have lived in Greensboro for the last nine years.
