Rebecca C. Perry, age 64, passed away February 19, 2009, at Athens Regional Medical Center after an extended illness.

Mrs. Ellen Holloway Tankersley, 77 wife of the late Charles Tankersley formerly of the Double Branches Community died Tuesday, February 17, 2009 in Snellville.
Funeral services was held  Friday, February 20, 2009 at 11a.m. at Double Branches Baptist Church with Revs. Keith Etheridge, David Inglett and Ficklen Guin officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

Sara Kathleen Tatum, 61, died Wednesday, January 28, 2009.
A native of Bamburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late William E. and Jeanette Moody Latimer, Sr.  She was preceded in death by her husband Joe Orvill Tatum. Mrs. Tatum was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist faith.

Robert William “Pete” Malcom, 85, of Doraville died January 23, 2009. The funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Monday, January 26 at Crowell Brothers Peachtree Chapel Funeral Home in Norcross. Interment followed at North Atlanta Memorial Park.

Jacqueline Mitchem Whitlock, 75, of Madison died Saturday, February 14, 2009.
Funeral service was held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 18 in Sandy Creek Baptist Church, Madison with the Rev. John McMillian Sr. and Dr. Ron Tyler officiating. Burial followed  in the church cemetery.

Mary Evelyn Stanley Johnson, 90, died Thursday, February 12, 2009. She was born December 25, 1918 and was predeceased by her husband, Roy McCall Johnson; parents, Amanda and William Stanley, sisters, Katie Ruth Day, Anna Wylie Josephine Hamilton and Sherwood Henson.
