Retha Nell Briscoe Hendrix
Submitted by editor on Fri, 01/30/2009 - 20:40.Retha Nell Briscoe Hendrix, 78, of Tulsa, Okla., slipped away peacefully to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 21, 2009. Mrs. Hendrix, the daughter of R. S. Briscoe and Josephine Jones Briscoe, lived in Monticello and Madison before the family moved to Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by both her parents and her husband, Walter Hendrix.
David L. “Red” Hitchcock Jr.

Bette has been an active member of the Madison community since she moved from Decatur in the fall of 1993.

James Sr. and Willie Nell Narvil James. He married Patricia Barnett of Oconee County and made their home in Madison. He was retired from Hercules, Inc. in Covington. Mr.
Tyrone Bishop

After graduation he enlisted in the United States Navy, where he served several terms. He later joined the Merchant Marines as a long shoreman. In 1974 he was united in marriage to Delia H.
