• On Dec. 29 a criminal trespass complaint was filed at a Ramada Lane location after a woman reported that during an argument a woman had thrown a glass at another woman and missed. The glass, however, did strike a window of a motel room and shattered the window. Reports state that the fight started over a text message on one of the woman’s phone. The woman who hurled the glass had left the motel room before officers arrived.
• On Dec. 27 a harassing communication report was filed at a Micha Way location after a man reported that he received 10 threatening text messages from his brother.
• On Dec. 25 a larceny complaint was filed at an Eatonton Road convenience store after a man reported that after he purchased items from the store, he could not remember placing his wallet back in his pocket. The man said the wallet is now missing and contained debit cards and identification cards, $2 cash and a $100 check.
• On Dec. 26 a larceny complaint was filed at an Atlanta Highway location after a man reported that someone took a Kobalt air compressor, two Duralast tool sets and a basket with a variety of tools.
• On Dec. 15 a fraud complaint was filed at a Hancock Street location after a woman reported that someone was making deposits to her bank account and then withdrawing the amounts. According to reports, deposits of $423.98, $479.50 and $488.32 were made and corresponding withdrawls of the same amounts were made two days later.
• On Dec. 19 a shoplifting complaint was filed at an Eatonton Road department store after a man reported that two black males had taken two iPads and fled the store. Reports state that the men requested to see the devices and, when the display case was opened, they each grabbed one and fled. They left the store in a purple Chrysler Sebring with a drive-out tag.

• On Nov. 27 Phalon Robertson, 17, Bostwick; Kah’Deem Chisolm, 19, Madison; and Jason Dowdell, 17, Bostwick, were arrested and charged with shoplifting after they allegedly took fountain drinks valued at $3 total and a cheesecake desert cup valued at $2.31 from an Eatonton Road grocery store. According to reports an employee at the store allegedly observed Dowdell and Robertson pour the drinks and attempt to leave the store. The cheesecake desert was located in a red Ford Mustang after officers stopped Chisolm near the store.
• On Nov. 26 a harassing communication complaint was filed at an Eatonton Road location after a man alleged that the boyfriend of his former daughter-in-law had allegedly threatened to cut his throat. According to reports, the boyfriend allegedly called the complainant from the former daughter-in-law’s cell phone. The daughter-in-law told authorities that the complainant made unwelcome comments regarding her physical appearance that she perceived to be sexual in nature. The boyfriend denied making any threats.
• On Nov. 24 a leash law violation complaint was reported at an East Avenue location after a woman reported that a boxer dog attacked her dalmation while she was walking the dog past the East Avenue residence. The woman said the boxer ran from the yard onto the sidewalk and that her dalmation sustained injuries to the left ear, snout, right ear and left hind quarter. The dog’s owner told authorities that she was experiencing a fireplace issue when the incident happened and opened doors to vent smoke from the house.

• On Nov. 20 a warrant was issued for the arrest of Tony Arness Jacobs, 43, Madison, for driving with a revoked driver’s license, weaving on the roadway and attempting to flee or elude after an officer allegedly observed Jacobs driving a silver Taurus out of a convenience store parking lot at 2:21 a.m. According to reports, the officer was aware that Jacobs did not have a license. The officer reported that he followed the silver Taurus and that it stopped on North Main Street after the officer attempted to pull the vehicle over. When the officer exited his patrol vehicle, the Taurus fled. The officer followed the Taurus to Turner Road and the vehicle left the road and travelled on a dirt road into a wooded area. The officer and a Morgan County deputy later discovered the abandoned Taurus near a wooded area. Two open cans of beer were located in the vehicle. The vehicle was seized as evidence and impounded. Jacobs was not found.
• On Nov. 19 Scotty Ali Wyatt, 40, Madison, was arrested and charged with criminal trespass after an officer observed Wyatt on the property of a West Washington Street liquor store. Reports state that Wyatt had been previously banned from the property.
• On Nov. 19 a criminal trespass complaint was filed at a South Main Street location after a man reported that he heard a noise coming from the front door and when he checked the front door he noticed that the door had been forcefully pulled outward. The man said he attempted to close the door but the door was stuck. The outer door knob was damaged, reports state.
