• On September 9 a disorderly conduct and criminal trespass complaint was filed at an Allen Street location after a woman reported that her daughter had stated that a man had followed the daughter home. The complainant told police that she observed the man in the backyard of her Allen Street house. The woman told the man to leave the property but the man initially refused. The woman told the man she was calling police and the man left.
• On September 12 a theft complaint was filed at an Eatonton Road location after a man reported that someone had removed his 12-foot utility trailer. According to reports, the trailer was later located in a wooded area behind the man’s business location and appeared to have been hidden in the woods for retrieval later.
• On September 4 a forgery complaint was filed at an Eatonton location after a man reported that a woman known to him had forged a check for $300.
• On September 12 Timothy Antwan Chester, 19, Madison was arrested and charged with two counts obstruction of police, criminal trespass and minor in possession of alcohol after police responded to a noise complaint at a Micha Way location. According to reports when officers arrived Chester allegedly fled the scene but was later captured hiding in a field next to the apartment complex. Reports state that Chester had been banned indefinitely from the apartment complex several years ago.
• On September 8 a damage to property complaint was filed at a Micha Way location after a woman reported that someone forcefully entered the apartment through a bedroom window and threw what appeared to be transmission fluid or oil over the interior walls and carpet of the living room and kitchen areas.

• On September 5 a larceny from auto complaint was filed at a Confederate Road location after a man reported that someone had entered a Ford Expedition and removed a radio and the power window switch panel. Both items were valued at $100 each.
• On August 29 a damage to property complaint was filed at a Whitehall Street location after a man reported that after he had allowed his brother to drive his 1987 Chevrolet Caprice, a man on Whitehall Street allegedly jumped on the hood of the vehicle and a 16-year-old female allegedly kicked the passenger side rear door of the vehicle
• On September 4 a simple assault complaint was filed at an East Jefferson Street location after a 16-year-old girl reported that after she walked out of her house to walk to a relative’s house, five other girls attacked her on the street with a metal pipe. Reports state that the complainant and two of the five girls had an altercation earlier at school that resulted in the complainant being forced to leave school. When officers arrived the five girls had left the scene and could not be located.
• On September 5 an auto theft complaint was filed at a Monticello Highway location after a man reported that someone had taken his 1996 Freightliner tractor and a 1995 East dump trailer. The man said the rig had been parked at the location the night before but when he arrived at 8 a.m. to go to work the tractor and trailer were missing.

• On August 30 a cruelty toward a child and terroristic threats complaint was made at a Sulgrave Drive location after a woman reported that a man confronted her and her children with a butcher knife. According to reports, the woman said the man allegedly threatened to kill the complainant because the complainant allegedly called the man’s 77-year-old mother “an old (expletive)”. The complainant denied that she called the woman a name. The man denied that he threatened anyone with a butcher knife. The man said that when he exited a church van that day the complainant had been drinking and was being “rude.” The man did state that he went into the complainant’s apartment and requested that the complainant refrain from calling his mother derogatory names.
• On August 30 a simple assault complaint was filed at a MLK Drive location after a woman reported that while she was laying on the couch at her boyfriend’s house, an ex-girlfriend of the man entered the house and attacked her. The ex-girlfriend told police that she did enter the house but could not remember who hit whom first. The ex-girlfriend said the present girlfriend was upset because the ex-girlfriend was still having relations with the man. Both women suffered injuries in the fight. The man said he placed the ex-girlfriend in a headlock and forcefully removed her from the residence.
• On August 29 a battery complaint was filed at a Micha Way location after a woman reported that when she was opening the door to allow a male visitor into her apartment, the father of her child knocked open the door and attacked the male visitor. The woman said as she attempted to stop the fight the father of her child struck her several times.

• On August 19 a harassing communication complaint was filed at a Bramblewood Drive location after a woman reported that another woman had been attempting to call the complainant. The report states that the complainant had a temporary protective order filed against the woman but despite the order the woman continued to call.
• On August 22 Gregory Emanuel Terrell, 24, Covington, was arrested and charged with shoplifting after he allegedly took a 36-pack of beer from an Eatonton Road convenience store without paying. An officer, reports state, confronted Terrell in the parking lot of the store. Terrell could not produce a receipt for the item and a clerk in the store said she did not cash Terrell out because Terrell did not have proper identification. While enroute to the Morgan County Detention Center an officer learned that Terrell also had outstanding warrants against him from Newton County.
• On August 21 a burglary complaint was filed at a Micha Way location after a man reported that someone entered his apartment and removed six $100 bills from his bedroom. The complainant reported that the back door to his apartment was ajar when he came home. The complainant said he had not set the dead bolt before he left the apartment.
• On August 19 a larceny from auto complaint was filed at an Eatonton Road location after a man reported that someone had entered a trailer and removed three pallets of wood.

• On August 8 Kevin Centrell Massey, 31, Madison, was arrested and charged with selling cocaine, possession of cocaine within 1,000 feet of a school and possession of cocaine within 1000 feet of a park after an officer observed Massey standing next to a bicycle on East Washington Street.
According to reports, two officers approached Massey because he had an outstanding warrant. While Massey was being arrested for the outstanding warrant an officer seized a piece of suspected crack cocaine from Massey.
• On August 8 a larceny from building complaint was filed at an Eatonton Road motel after a woman reported that when the family left the motel room to go swimming someone entered the room and removed $2,000 from the complainant’s wallet.
• On August 8 Clyde Griffin Walsh, 48, Hilda, S. C., was arrested and charged with public intoxication and interference with a public business after an officer responded to a complaint from a woman that Walsh was harassing her at a car wash.
According to reports, Walsh allegedly asked a woman for water at the car wash. When the woman refused the man water the man allegedly cursed at the woman and left. Officers found Walsh at a department store.
He was arrested outside the store.
• On August 7 John Vincent Holsenbeck, 19, Bonaire, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and speeding after an officer stopped Holsenbeck for allegedly speeding on the Madison by-pass.
Following the stop, reports state, an officer allegedly found a pill bottle with suspected marijuana, two marijuana grinders and a blue glass pipe.

• On July 31 Ravi Evans, 18, Madison, was arrested and charged with shoplifting, less than $300 after he allegedly took ownership of a $32 digital camera that a 14-year-old male had taken from Wal-Mart. According to reports the 14-year-old allegedly took the camera, fled the store and threw the camera into a car in which Evans was a passenger. Officers allegedly found the camera on Evans person after the vehicle was stopped.
• On August 2 Aundi Sims, 26, Madison was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and interference with a business after she allegedly cursed at a Waffle House waitress. According to reports, the waitress reported that Sims made a to-go order while she was sitting in her car in the parking lot of the restaurant. The complainant said she put Sims on hold during the call and when walked someone outside the store. Sims then allegedly confronted the waitress and allegedly called her an “old bag of bones.” She also allegedly used several racial slurs against the waitress. Sims then allegedly threatened to call Waffle House’s corporate office to complain. An officer served Sims with the citation at her Pearl Street house.
• On July 27 a larceny complaint was filed at a South Main Street retail store after a man reported that he was missing three rings with a total value of $8,400. The man said he suspected a woman who had been helping in the store had taken the rings. The complainant then checked a local pawnshop and located the rings. Officers confiscated the rings from the pawnshop and an employee at the pawnshop identified the suspect as the same woman who had pawned the rings.
