Fourteen law enforcement officials reconvened at the Red Roof Inn’s room 206 last Friday to recreate their position moments before David Allen Deitz, 25, allegedly opened fire through the room’s window and door.

Submitted by editor on Fri, 01/09/2009 - 15:15.• On January 2 a deputy filed a information report after he attempted to serve 12 temporary restraining orders against a Cox Road woman. According to reports, the woman was not at the residence and the deputy asked her daughters to contact the woman by phone. Phone contact was made, reports state, and the woman was informed of the process of the restraining orders.
Morgan County Arrest Report

Although these people have been arrested they are not consider guilty unless they later plead guilty or are convicted in a court of law.

• On December 18 a burglary complaint was filed at a West Jefferson Street location after a man reported that someone had broken glass from an entry door entered the store and removed a cash drawer.
