Madison Police Department On August 3 Hunter Lee Hignight, 25, Bargersville, Ind. was arrested and charged with theft by taking and two counts financial card theft. According to reports, an employee said a white male, approximately 5’8” with sandy blonde hair, tan shorts and a black shirt and a white female, approximately 5’4”, long hair, black pants and black shirt left two counterfeit $20 bills on the table in booth 21 as payment for their food. According to reports, an employee reported that a couple in a room where having a verbal argument outside a room at 7:30 a.m. The employee said she told the couple to take the argument inside the room or leave the property. According to reports, officers were called to the Quality Inn, Eatonton Road, in response to a motel guest that was refusing to leave the motel on his checkout date and time. According to reports, a woman reported that someone had nudged open a front window and gained access to her manufactured house and removed a 73” Mitsubishi television. According to the reports, the clerk working at McDonald’s stated that a man used a counterfeit $50 bill at the drive through window to try and pay for his meal. According to reports, an employee at the store reported that two elderly white women entered the store and looked at various items.
