I recently received a card from someone who has always been a great encourager to me. The card-quoted portions of Jeremiah 31-3-4: “I have loved you with an everlasting love… I will build you up again.” What an encouraging Word! The definition of everlasting is, NEVER COMING TO AN END, ETERNAL. Can you imagine that as a child of God, his love for us will never come to an end, it is an eternal love? In this scripture He was speaking to Israel, His chosen people. Today, we who call the name of Jesus as our savior are also His chosen people. Are you discouraged? If you are broken He will build you up. Life can be complicated. God’s love isn’t.

It has been a great summer at Centennial Baptist. As this great summer continues, I want to invite you to a one-day event happening on Sunday, July 28. We have Evangelist Jon Reed who will be doing a One-Day Revival. Jon will be preaching at the 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. services.

Jon founded Focused Evangelism in the summer of 2004. The ministry was birthed out of a desire to ignite the fires of evangelism within the context of the local church, as well as encourage the existing leadership in the fulfillment of the Great Commission.

His primary focus is bringing revival back into the life of churches. In a world that continues to distort the message of the cross, it is Jon’s prayer that God will enable him to encourage churches to return to biblical evangelism, by equipping the saints to boldly share the gospel message to this lost and dying world.

This is going to be a great Sunday for you to come and bring your friends.  I look forward to seeing you here.
