We have had an AWESOME summer in the Centennial Student Ministry.  CBC students spent the last week of June at PowerLife Camp in Johnson City, Tenn., growing closer to the Lord and one another.  Several of our students volunteered as Student Counselors at our Morgan County Baptist Association Children’s Camp.  We have also led several students to volunteer their time in service over the summer break.  It has been an action-packed summer at ‘WNR’ as well.  We have just finished our annual ‘WNR GAME NIGHT,’ a Wednesday night dedicated to crazy games and fellowship.  It was a wild and crazy evening to say the least.  These are just a few of the things  our students have been a part of while school is out. As the summer draws to a close, we will begin a brand new series on Wednesday nights from 1st John entitled ‘BE REAL.’ There has never been a more important time in the lives of our students to step up and live out their Christian faith.

As they head back to class, many of our students will enter their biggest mission field.  This new series is designed to challenge and encourage them to ‘BE REAL’ in their walk with Christ!  We are so excited about the upcoming activities planned for the fall.  We already have several trips planned; as well as many mission opportunities.  Stay tuned for more details about how to be involved in our community as we reach this world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ!  If you are not involved in an active youth group, I would like to personally invite you to be a part of our weekly ‘WNR’ (Wednesday Night Rock) youth meetings.  You will find students in sixth-12th grades who gather every week to worship our Lord, fellowship with one another, and grow closer to Christ through relevant preaching.  Come check us out this week!  The fun starts at 6:30 p.m.  Hope to see you there!
